Robotic islands for loading and unloading rodent cages in a washing tunnel.
The transfer of cages to the unloading area is managed by a linear pilgrim-step axis. A FANUC R2000iA robot ensures the tracking transfer of components to the washing tunnel.
At the tunnel exit, 2 FANUC R2000ia robots transfer the cages onto a litter deposit conveyor and stack the cages and lids on a cart (previously taken from a storage rack). Component gripping is managed by a linear axis controlled by a servomotor to ensure the gripping of different types of cages.
