History
– 1992: CIM is created by Alain GUEUDRÉ, then a technical education teacher, with the help of René GIFFARD, who manages the company in Auppegard. In the early days, CIM concentrated on two activities: machining and design.
– 1997: Production of the first indexing table assembly machine.
– 2000: CIM developed strongly in the automotive sector until the late 1990s. On the strength of this experience, the company opened up to the cosmetics and perfume sectors.
– 2007 : First successful integration of a 6-axis robot and the 1st product orientation camera.
– 2010: The company reorganizes into two distinct divisions: a machining division and a robotics division grouped under CIM DEVELOPPEMENT.
– 2011: Creation of the 1st tracking vision robot.
– 2013: The use of vision in the cosmetics sector leads to the creation of the 1st robotized depacker for perfume bottles.
– 2014: Creation of CIM Eure.
– 2016: Creation of CIM Atlantique.
– 2017: Use of DEEP CAPTURE deep learning to integrate the 1st optical inspection solution using this process.
– 2019: Distribution agreement signed to open CIM to distribution of MIR mobile robot solutions.
